Dec. 4, 2007 - Hey cats! Well the boyz sucked me into doing one last show at Mainstreet Dec. 1 before I go on my lil' maternity hiatus (IT'LL BE NO VACATION THOUGH). BUT it won't be long as I WILL RETURN to front SK6 again in about 6 months - June or July 2008. Until my return - I'll be missing all of your beautiful faces! The Mainstreet show was too much fun! Doug - singer/guitarist really stepped up and helped the ol' pregnant lady out! Free Bird was off the hook! Great job Doug! HUGE thanks to Twist of Faite crew: Terry, Dave, Drew, Kelly & Angie for the smiles and support. And thanks to Drummer-Dave-man for rockin' out with us on Priest and KISS tunes! And my best friend Johnda for all her support - love you girl! And too the lovely Nathalie...thanks so much for you loyal support and for giving me a copy of Patrick's Blue Skies CD. I love it - I miss him more than words can express! And to Leslie, Jenn, Ian and Fish - thanks for hanging w/us and cheering us on! And the cool chicks & fellas who danced & partied w/us all night...you all make the night so memorable and fun for us! THANK YOU!
Nov. 28 - Sorry for the late update! Being 4 mos. pregnant - I'm slackin' on some things a bit. The Down Under shows Nov. 9-10 were a BLAST as always! DU is by far my fav lil' pub to play! Our folks are so kind and appreciative there. Wish we could take you with us everywhere! Thanks to Rockin' Ray Huffman for his aweseome singing Friday night and the Knee Deep Band for smoking up the joint Sat. night! Those guy are great! Thanks also to Teresa Hedrick from RDB for her wonderful singing - you are a beautiful lady w/lots of talent! And to all the faithful - I cannot express how wonderful you all make us feel! If not for you there cheering us on and making us feel special, this stuff would be such a drag! You're all wonderful and beautiful souls! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
In memory of Patrick Bush... Our wonderful friend, our bandmate, our brother. We will miss your passion for music, your uplifting, infectious and positive energy, your caring smile, but most of all your loyal friendship. You are a beautiful soul! Rock the heavens Pat and watch over us!
Nov. 7 - Well we've had a fun Oct. w/HalloBash at J&J's! Pool of Ashes and Damien Blaze & Vane kicked off the party and damn were they awesome & refreshing! Keep it up guys...cause you're definitely going places! The Nov. 3 show at Brothers Encore was too cool! Thank you so much to all who supported, sang and celebrated Patrick's life. It was a great turn-out and so nice seeing all your beautiful faces! And HUGE THANKS for supporting and donating generously to Dewey Animals and for Lil' Man's recovery!
Oct. 17 - The Mainstreet Show Sept. 29 and the DU shows Sept. 14-15 were a blast! Thanks to all who graced us w/their presence. You are all wonderful folks and your support means the world to us!
Sept. 6 - Tim's Rivershore WATERSTOCK 2007 was an absolute blast! Three full days of kickass bands. We played Sunday and started the day off! We had our old line up of Jim Rietz on lead guitar, Patrick Bush on rhythm guitar and vocals, and of course Shane, Steve and me (Lainey). It felt like ol' times which were always better than worse - lots of great chemistry! We had so much fun on that barge! Thanks to Eric King and everyone at Tim's for putting on this awesome event! We got to ROCK the barge and had the best view! We hope to return to Waterstock next year! The pics that photographer Marny Malin took say it all! Check'em out!
The Down Under show - Aug. 24 ROCKED HARD! As ya'll know we have downsized for this show - back to 4 again in the band. With our newest member Randy Mihacsi - who sizzled on guitar! We had much fun! It was wonderful to see all the support and folks having fun, singing, dancing & rockin' out! We've missed it. Thanks to all - too many to name - that came out that night! Ya'll are the reason!
Aug. 3 - Sorry for my tardiness on last couple show updates! Life has been hectic these last couple weeks! Anyhoo the July 20 Dougherty's and July 28 Brothers Encore shows were spectacular indeed! THANKS to PatMan & Terry from TOF for helping us out w/sound at Doughertys! Thanks also to: Terry & Teresa, Tiffany, Julia, Aggie, Kelly (you two rocked out on Crazy Bitch!), Terry, Dave, Pat thanks for sitting in w/us and rocking the house as usual! We had so much fun at ya'll's show at Brothers July 21! Speaking of Brothers we had a helluva time there July 28 that we didn't wanna quit playing and even put in a lil' OT! Thanks to Keith Harmon for his rockin' vocals! Great seeing ol' friend Carlton and Julie's friends were wonderfully fun. And always cool to see the lovely Ms. Maria, Terry & Teresa from RDB - great singing! We'll miss ya'll when you move to OBX, NC. AND THE MAN who stole the show - Mr. Steve Decker - our new SK6 intrepretive dancer! What crazy, mesmorizing moves this man has - he sizzled up the dance floor and I think intimidated all to come near it...too funny! Hey we'll be back at Brothers in November - date TBA.
July 6 - Colonial Tavern - Home of the Irish Brigade in Old Towne Fredericksburg was tons-o-fun! Ryan from Kickin' Norma ran our sound and did a kickass job and also played drums w/us on Sweet Emotion and knock'em dead! GREAT job! You ROCK Ryan! Such a cool place and laid back vibe there - Met some nice cool folk there and we hope to return to the Tavern soon! June 21 - Madigan's and Dougherty's were fun shows: Madigan's: Thanks to all who came out: Ray, the 3 Marks' and the 2 Cindys', Johnda, Renae, Kim, Jen & Melina, Terry, Teresa, Mario, Rich, and all who were there. We're back at Madigan's Aug. 10 & 11 w/a soundman this time! Dougherty's Tavern: Love this bar! Thanks to the Twisted Crew - Pat, Dave & Terry, Kelly & friends for coming out and rockin' out w/us. Always a blast when you guys grace the stage! True rockers indeed. And to the lovely Mrs. Tiffany (better half of Shamus O'Bassman) and the pretty Ms. Julia for hangin' w/us! AND all the other cool cats who regulary come to Doughertys - always a pleasure to see your beautiful faces! AND MAJOR THANKS to Ryan from Kickin' Norma for running our sound! He was fabulous and made it so much easier for us. He'll be back for upcoming shows!

May 11-12 - Friday night at Colonial Tavern and Kevin's birthday bash at Dougherty's Tavern Sat. night were both a blast! Thanks to Terry and her staff at Colonial Tavern for making us feel so welcome our first time out at the Home of the Irish Brigade. Very cool place indeed! And to our faithful: Aggie, Kelly, Dave, Angie and everyone or coming out and showing the love. Much appreciated! We hope we return to Colonial Tavern soon! AND MUCHO THANKS to Kathy - Kevin's beautiful lady - for having us play and hosting such a kickass party Sat. night at Dougherty's Tavern! Hope ya'll had fun and enjoyed your vacation in Cancun! We really enjoyed the whole night and it was great seeing so many old friends and familar faces. Thanks to all at Dougherty's - definitely one of our favorite places to play! We always have a great time there!
April 16, 2007 - Dougherty's Tavern Apr. 7 - lots o'fun was had at Dougherty's! We love that bar! The have the nicest crew there! Top notch! Thanks to all who came out, small crowd b/c of Easter weekend. BUT we rocked & rolled and managed to get a few cool cats up dancing so all was good! It was our first full gig w/our newest member Mrs. Julie Musselman on vocals & percussion! Check out the pics below that Mr. Rick Musselman of RMP Studios took of us crazy cats!
